Our team has the professional expertise and know-how to assist clients with storage tank compliance issues. We are ready to address any current and upcoming compliance issues with underground and above-ground tanks (USTs and ASTs).
AirQuest personnel have performed inspections of USTs and ASTs at maintenance yards, fueling centers, operations centers, refineries, casinos, hotels, commercial buildings and residential communities. AirQuest can manage repairs to pollutant storage systems which have maintenance problems. Repairing these systems can often be as simple as replacing a hose on a dispenser, troubleshooting and repairing an electrical problem, or replacing breakaways.
AirQuest is experienced in the installation of USTs/ASTs, removal and closing of out-of-service systems, repairs and upgrades to UST/AST systems, and monthly and annual pollutant storage system inspections. Our company has the requisite resources and qualifications to plan and implement any necessary site assessment and corrective actions related to petroleum discharges. Many UST removals have included initial remedial actions of soils, soil disposal or treatment. These activities are usually followed by soil verification sampling and analysis, monitoring well installation, groundwater sampling and analysis, and the preparation of Tank Closure Assessment Reports (T-CARS) to comply with State and local environmental regulations.
We can design and retrofit existing storage tank systems in order to maintain and ensure compliance with performance standards and applicable law. This can be a simple process, such as upgrading single-walled piping to double-walled piping, or as complex as installing a new system or converting an UST system to an AST system.
As part of our services, we prepare Spill Prevention and Countermeasure Control (SPCC) Plans in compliance with 40 CFR Part 112, review compliance to regulations, and make recommendations regarding existing plans.
