Green Building LEED Consulting

AirQuest is committed to assisting our clients in creating and maintaining an indoor environment that is safe and comfortable.

Our Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED®) accredited professionals will assist your LEED® team in deciding upon which environmental quality credits to pursue. In coordination with other team members, our project managers will verify compliance with LEED® requirements and perform indoor air quality testing prior to building occupancy.

Perhaps even more importantly to our corporate and institutional clients, incorporating elements of the LEED® rating system will improve productivity and reduce absenteeism in the workplace. Elements of LEED® system associated with Indoor Air Quality include:

  • Increased outdoor air ventilation
  • State of the art particulate filtration during and after construction
  • Low volatile organic compound (VOC) levels
  • Prevention of mold growth within the building
  • Occupant control of thermal comfort parameters
  • Energy savings

In the event that our client chooses to pursue the Brownfield Redevelopment credit, AirQuest can assist in the identification of underground contamination (by means of an ASTM E1903 Phase II Environmental Site Assessment) and/or any remediation of the contamination to facilitate site development.

If our client has a building requiring asbestos or lead-based paint removal, AirQuest will manage the identification and remediation of these materials. Remediation of these hazardous materials can assist the building owner in achieving Building Reuse and Construction Waste Management credits.
